Baytech Notetaker for Zoom
The meeting assistant that records and summarizes Baytech Consulting engagements — so decisions, action items, and project details are never lost.

What it is
Baytech Notetaker is Baytech Consulting's internal meeting assistant. When a meeting involving Baytech is scheduled, the Notetaker joins the Zoom call as a clearly visible, named participant. It records the meeting and produces a transcript and summary that the Baytech team reviews in our internal portal. It is used exclusively by Baytech Consulting employees and is not offered to the public.
How it works
- Connect once. A Baytech team member signs into the Baytech portal and connects their Zoom account with a standard Zoom sign-in. No password is ever shared with Baytech.
- The Notetaker joins. For meetings the team member attends, the bot joins as a visible participant named for Baytech — everyone in the meeting can see it is there.
- Notes appear in the portal. After the call, the transcript and an AI-generated summary are available to authorized Baytech staff in the Baytech portal.
You stay in control
- Connecting is always a deliberate action — nothing is linked until you click Connect and approve the app on Zoom's own consent screen.
- Disconnect at any time from the Zoom Recording page in your Baytech portal profile.
- You can also remove the app directly from your Zoom account's connected-apps list; the connection in the Baytech portal is deactivated automatically.
Data & privacy
- Meeting recordings and transcripts are stored in Baytech Consulting's own systems and are available only to authorized Baytech staff.
- Zoom sign-in tokens are stored encrypted by Baytech's self-hosted recording service; the Baytech portal itself stores no Zoom tokens.
- The app requests only minimal Zoom permissions: reading the authorizing user's basic profile, and token support so the bot can join meetings that user attends.
- No Zoom data is sold or shared with third parties.
