Startup services
Software development for startups, from a sketch on a napkin to a product people use.
We help founders turn an idea into working software: a prototype you can click, a lean first version, a launch, and the engineering that keeps it running as you grow. One founder asked seven firms for a quote. We were the only one that showed up to the first call with a prototype.
A real launch, start to finish
How Sell Your Boards went from an idea to paying out sellers
Zachary Myers buys scrap circuit boards and electronics from people across the US. His business ran on a Squarespace site, emailed photos, shipping labels bought by hand and payout spreadsheets. Here's how it became a real product.
Sketch
Start with how it should work
The idea was simple: sellers box up their scrap, ship it and get paid, with no sorting and no back-and-forth emails.
Prototype
A prototype before the first call
Zachary asked seven firms for a quote. We were the only one that came to the first call with a rough, working prototype. It showed we understood his business before he'd hired anyone.
First version
Build only what matters
A one-page order form, US Postal Service address checks and prepaid shipping labels, order tracking for sellers, and an admin dashboard in place of the spreadsheets.
Launch
Switch over without going dark
The new platform replaced the old site in mid-February 2026 with zero downtime. Orders started coming in the same week.
Run and grow
We keep it running
We host and manage it: automated releases, error tracking, monitoring and automated tests. Zachary runs his business; we look after the software.
Sell Your Boards, launched by Baytech in February 2026.
Why he picked us
Before Sell Your Boards, Zachary had worked with cheaper development shops. This time he asked seven firms for a quote.
Jeff at Baytech was the ONLY person that came up with a rough prototype before we even had our first call. It showed his preparedness and willingness to work on our project.
Founders We've Built With
Real startups, from first sketch to running product.
Sell Your Boards
Electronics recycling buyback
Problem: The business ran on a Squarespace site, emailed photos, shipping labels bought one at a time and payout spreadsheets.
What we did: Showed a working prototype before the first call, then built a self-service platform with prepaid shipping labels, order tracking and an admin dashboard. We host and run it.
Result: Launched with zero downtime: 47 orders and $4,171.11 paid out to sellers in the first week.
Artcast
Art streamed to TV screens
Problem: A streaming art service needed its library on many kinds of TV, from Apple TV and Roku to Samsung and Amazon Fire TV.
What we did: Built one shared app for as many platforms as possible, a Roku app, a back end that handles memberships and serves the art, Stripe payouts to featured artists, and a social app for artists and fans.
Result: A library of more than 100,000 paintings, photographs and videos in over 900 galleries, viewed in more than 150 countries.
Carszy
A social and safety app for drivers
Problem: The founder wanted drivers to reach each other, and report dangerous driving, by license plate, without exposing anyone's personal details.
What we did: Built the app (a local feed, messaging with voice and video calls, and vehicle search) plus an admin portal for reviewing reports, running on Google Cloud.
Result: Drivers connected by license plate with their details kept private, plus alerts for abductions and other emergencies.
SkinKnowing
Skincare advice from a dermatologist
Problem: A board-certified dermatologist wanted to help people choose skincare by what's actually in it.
What we did: Built her personalized survey and recommendation engine, fed by product data gathered from major retailers, with an ingredient library and tools for managing it all.
Result: Doctor-approved recommendations tailored to each person, on a platform we host and manage.
