PostgreSQL · SQL Server · Redis · SQLite
All major database systems, designed well and moved without losing a row
We pick the database that fits the job, design it so it stays fast as your business grows, and move your old data across without losing any. For a Michigan manufacturer, that meant 7.4 million rows from their old ERP in seven and a half minutes, with zero errors.

A database migration: 7.4 million rows, zero errors
Quest Industries' new ERP runs on a new, clean PostgreSQL database, not a copy of the old one. Their history comes across once, on cutover day, through a scripted four-stage import. These are the totals from a recorded run.

The Right Database for EachJob
Every major kind of database, and what we use each one for.
PostgreSQL
Our default for new systems: reliable, fast and free of license fees. It runs Quest Industries' ERP, Sell Your Boards, Petra Medical College and American Allied Health, among others.
Microsoft SQL Server
The natural choice when your business already runs on Microsoft. SkinKnowing's six databases, RealSource's property data and MedData's screening app all run on SQL Server.
Redis
An in-memory store for the jobs that must be instant: caching, locks so two people can't change the same record at once, and live updates on screen. Quest's ERP and Sell Your Boards both use it.
SQLite
A small database that lives on the phone. TTB's estimators create jobs and proposals at customer sites with no signal, and the app syncs when it's back online.
Event Sourcing
Instead of overwriting records, every change is stored as an event that can't be altered. LeadStack uses it to replay a lead's full history and keep a complete audit trail.
Search
Search built into the database itself. Sell Your Boards' public price list of 110+ items is searchable using PostgreSQL's built-in text matching, with no separate search server to run.
Data Work for RealClients
What the problem was, what we did, and what changed.
Quest Industries
Mold tooling and machining, Michigan
Problem: Years of jobs, quotes, purchasing and labor sat in an old ERP, with a workflow platform on top that polled the database every 1 to 15 minutes.
What we did: Designed a new, clean PostgreSQL database and a scripted four-stage import. A carry-across keeps what staff typed in during testing whenever the import is run again.
Result: 7,412,716 rows moved in 7 minutes 30 seconds with zero errors, and production was reset on 18 September 2026 with nothing lost.
RealSource Partners
Commercial real estate brokerage, Irvine
Problem: A three-person team kept its data in spreadsheets, separate databases and PDF reports on personal and company drives.
What we did: Pulled every piece of information into one SQL Server database, gathered automatically from their own tools, third-party data and mapping engines, behind an interactive map.
Result: Revenue rose 800% within two years of moving to the new platform.
SkinKnowing
Dermatologist-led skincare recommendations
Problem: Product and ingredient data had to come from major retailers' websites, with every ingredient's exact name and order kept.
What we did: Built a service that reads the collected data from AWS, converts it and loads it into SQL Server, across six databases for products, images, sign-in, long-running jobs and notifications.
Result: Doctor-approved product recommendations built on one clean product and ingredient library.
Sell Your Boards
Electronics recycling buyback
Problem: Orders arrived by email and payouts were tracked in spreadsheets behind a Squarespace site.
What we did: Built a new platform on PostgreSQL, with search built into the database and Redis for speed, then switched the business over from the old site.
Result: Zero downtime at the switch, then 47 orders and $4,171.11 paid out in the first week.
MedData
Fortune 500 healthcare data company
Problem: Hospital staff needed coverage rules for all 50 states on an iPad, with or without internet.
What we did: Loaded everything the screening needs into the app itself, backed by a .NET service and SQL Server, so answers come back instantly even offline.
Result: Their customers saw revenue rise 10% to 35%.
LeadStack
Our own CRM for lending and marketing teams
Problem: Prime, our earlier CRM for lenders, wasn't built to run in the cloud or serve many companies at once.
What we did: Rebuilt it as LeadStack with event sourcing: every change is recorded as an event that can't be altered.
Result: Any lead's history can be replayed, with a full audit trail and snapshots at any point in time.
How we work
How we take care of your database
From picking the database to moving years of history into it, the same careful steps every time.
- 01learn
Understand your data
What you store, how much of it, who reads it, and what would hurt most if it were wrong or slow.
- 02choose
Pick the right database
PostgreSQL for most systems, SQL Server where you're built on Microsoft, Redis for speed, SQLite on phones, or a mix.
- 03design
Design it to last
A clean structure with the rules enforced by the database itself, and every change to it shipped as a script and tested against a real database.
- 04move
Move your history
A scripted import we can run as often as needed, rehearsed on your real data before cutover day. Nothing is retyped by hand.
- 05speed
Keep it fast
Indexes where queries need them, Redis caching where they need more, and lightweight read-only queries that don't slow everyone else down.
- 06run
Keep it running
We host and run the databases behind the systems we manage, with error tracking and uptime monitoring on every one.
One source of truth
RealSource Partners ran on spreadsheets, separate databases and PDFs until we moved everything into one SQL Server database behind an interactive map. Their revenue rose 800% within two years.
With the new system, we can handle the workflow that would normally take dozens of people to manage.
Let's look at your data.
Tell us what you store and where it lives today. We'll tell you plainly what we'd keep, what we'd change, and what moving it would take.
