We create world-class enterprise business applications
At Baytech, we are passionate about technology. Our clients come to us seeking customized, skillfully crafted business applications. Our longevity is due to the skill and efficiency of our team of senior software engineers, project managers, and devops staff.
We specialize in enterprise business applications that optimize business processes and handle large amounts of data and traffic. We only produce modern software with a focus on quality, usability, and scalability.
All of our engineers are onshore salaried staff. We do not believe in mitigating cost at the risk of quality. Instead, we manage project costs by implementing an efficient development process, providing our clients with complete project transparency, and building software right the first time using the latest standards and best practices.
Baytech started purely as a software development company that focused on the financial industry. We worked with a variety of industry players such as MedData, Allergan, Allied Signal, RealSource Partners, Diversified to name a few.
It wasn’t long until we began designing, developing, and maintaining custom web-based applications that managed marketing, accounting, and performance for clients across the mortgage, real estate, and MLM industries.
As gaming fans, we created the massively popular Everlore.com website that was used by over 30 million Everquest gaming fans per month. This was a huge number that is notable even by today’s standards.
We pioneered the Wikipedia style concept of user-generated news and content. This included a capacity for users to chat and comment on all content. We also introduced the concept of community-based moderators to help censor content.
In 1998, our client Rick Arvielo sold his printing company that utilized our software. He started New American Funding and asked us to build a direct mail marketing platform. With our collaboration, it evolved to become a full-featured multi-tenant CRM, marketing, agent performance, and accounting platform known as BankerView.
On top of this, we created an instant messenger popup-based lead distribution system which dramatically reduced speeds for lead contact. This innovation has become a standard in CRMs to this day.
Spearheading Lead Generation and CRM for Herbalife
In 2003, we were contracted by the largest distributor of Herbalife to construct a lead generation CRM and downline management platform for the organization.
The system was multi-language and accounted for the hierarchical structure of the MLM industry, and dynamically generated lead inquiry pages. The lead generation and marketing portion of the system was so reliable, it became the leading trusted
system of record for third party lead providers.
Our Massive Mortgage Industry Growth
With the blessing of our mortgage software clients, we entered the mortgage business ourselves! Starting as a net branch of Direct Lender, we quickly grew to be their largest branch, surpassing most of our competitors including New American Funding.
At the time, Direct Lender was experiencing operational difficulties and offered us a large stake in the company in exchange for our assistance. At our height, we had several of our own branches, including more than 100 agents. We also ran operations for almost 150 net branches for Direct Lender.
Transforming the Growth of Real Source Partners
By 2007, we were engaged by Real Source Partners to build a new commercial real estate broker platform. We built a primarily map-based user interface to visualize and interact with data.
This was a radical idea at the time and has now become the standard for these platforms. It seamlessly integrated demographics, traffic counts, drive time studies, and third-party data. We added a Gantt chart-based project management module with the ability to track the progress of real estate projects.
The system streamlined Real Source’s process, centralized data, and gave them the ability to scale without hiring additional staff. Our software launched our client from being a small, regional broker, to a number one broker internationally.
Growth with New American Funding
Rick Arvielo, with New American Funding, withstood the market collapse through shrinking his operation to a bare minimum, but his company was struggling to survive.
In 2008, we teamed up with him to re-enter the mortgage business. We started doing loan modifications and FHA streamline refinances, developing one of the highest success rates in the industry.
This triggered a massive growth period for us and New American. As a result, we stopped performing loan modifications completely to concentrate our attention on mortgage products.
Creating our Prime Mortgage CRM Software
In 2011, we moved our operation to Intercap, who, at the time, lacked the software to manage marketing and sales processes. In preparation of the move, we constructed a mortgage CRM software called Prime. We brought 75 agents and processors, as well as software, servers, and other IT infrastructure. This move more than doubled the size of Intercap.
While we were assured their operations could handle the expansion, this turned out to be inaccurate. They proved incapable of fixing their bank line issues and operations and after nearly a year, we recognized the need to part ways. By this time, Prime had evolved into a mature and battle-tested mortgage CRM.
As soon as 2012, we were courted by CashCall Mortgage. They worked out an attractive deal to secure our agents and cutting-edge technology. CashCall was growing dramatically and wasted large sums of money on marketing that yielded zero outcome.
Prime was incorporated to resolve these problems and CashCall quickly flourished as our software supported them through their busiest and most profitable years. Leads moved through the system properly, data was accurate, and marketing could pinpoint campaigns were successful and which were not.
Diversified Healthcare Resources
In 2014, Diversified Healthcare Resources commissioned us to build a new medical administration platform called Patient Advocacy Technology (PAT) to drive the future of their company. It was a highly complex project, with a primary purpose to match indigent patients with retroactive insurance coverage to pay for their hospital stays.
We leveraged our experience in building CRMs and included concepts that prioritized task listing and simplified eligibility workflows.
In late 2017, we were commissioned by MedData to build a new platform, due to our vast experience building CRMs and our prior work on Patient Advocacy Technology (PAT). This is a noteworthy client and is a significant project for a firm of our size.
As of 2019, the project is forecasted to be a major success. Building a sophisticated workflow engine and rules engine as the backbone of the system, MedData can now efficiently drive their advocates through customized patient screenings and match them to insurance programs in which they should be eligible for.
As we wrap up the MedData project, we are re-focusing our efforts on building LeadStack. Our vision for LeadStack has evolved into a more sophisticated and feature-rich platform.
Fortunately, we built an incredible development team between the two fantastic projects. Presently, we are eagerly anticipating a successful progression into phase 2 of development.
